GAZORNINPLAT II

"never seen anything like it"

submission: GAZORNINPLAT II
date: September 25, 2004

The long awaited sequel to the non existent gazorninplat 1 does everything better than its imaginary predecessor. gazorninplat II is set to a country song that is very repetitive, yet the visuals are mildly entertaining. go ahead and give it a watch.

Hyakugojyuuichi 2

"same song. different stuff"

submission: Hyakugojyuuichi 2
date: September 25, 2004

Hyaku-whats-its-face 2 doesnt come in first, but its not last either. a very pixelly cartman sings the original song and various other pop culture snippets move in basic patterns. mildly entertaining, but not worth a second viewing

Life is Like a Mop

"life really is like a mop..."

submission: Life is Like a Mop

Neil cicierega's in depth study of the psychological and philisophical questions surrounding the similarities found between common household cleaning tools and meaningful human relationships was an enlighten....NOT! Ths is another animuation done the way we like them, wierd, plotless, and full of pop culture images pirated off the internet and from Neil's earlier work. you know what you doing.

"korean rap makes for great animutation fodder"

date: September 21, 2004

This animutation revisits the classic days of anmutations of three years ago, but with new characters. A lighthearted group of actors have a party and drive a small car while happy korean rap/pop music with sing along subtitles plays. this animutation makes me happy.

Hoe Blow 2004

"flush this peice of crap"

submission: Hoe Blow 2004
date: September 21, 2004

never in my life have i been so annoyed by an animutation wanna be.
this one consists of a few bodies exploding or getting shot or whatever. theres a few scenes that could possibly be called animutation if i exaggerated enough. all this crap is set to a rap thats nothing but a stream of curse words and death threats. somebody get me a shovel to scrape this peice of crap off NG.

"flash: enter the homie"

date: September 19, 2004

Mr. home's first attempt at animutation captures the spirit of the genre with this catchy music video. while it shows the unpolished look of an artist's first film, it covers all the animutation basics, including the small things that you miss if you blink. Where most animutation artists enter the genre with a bare bones animutation and then fade into obscurity, mr homie brings a solid show.

Chocolate Niblet Beans

"they just keep getting better"

date: September 19, 2004

The latest work by tocic aka bob barker takes its place among the great animutations of our time. From the catchy music to the multitude of well cast and choreographed actors this movie shines like vana white's teeth. There is somewhat of a plot, which is a new feature in animutations: bodyless head with glasses boy(shumway) turns into an anime style head and eventually battles saskatchewan. new arrivals chimps in suits and bearded biker dude fit flawlessly into the mad whirl of action that is chocolate niblet beans.

Dan Hibiki's Armageddon

"altoids."

date: September 19, 2004

This animutation featuring altoids and a fag in a purple suit is quite good. While it is the only animuttion without colin mochre in it, the other characters make up for his absence with their own talents. fag in a purple hat and guy in pink gi were unforgetable in their roles as, um, whatever they did.

firstlove

"a medium movie at a medium pace."

submission: firstlove
date: September 17, 2004

various spaceships and aged computer graphics move through a collage of pictures set in motion to the rythm of a rather catchy swing beat.

This movie belongs somewhere in the middle of the animutation pack. It doesn't have the meticulous attention to detail that many of the cuttng edge animutation artists display, but it is a hundred times better than the crap some people throw together and call animutation. The song is catchy and subtitled badly, as it should be, and there are many moving pictures from different sources. call it a collage set in motion. However, it lacks a few things we have come to expect from anmutations. the pictures are too square. all the characters are relevant to a basic plot. tiny things that you miss if you blink are not present. in short, this was like getting a ham and cheese sandwich with no mustard.

"great actors in forgetable roles"

date: September 15, 2004

it began with so much potential. a duet by old monocle man and fat lady singing a enourmously catchy song. but somehow it didnt come through in the end. there was so much animutational potental between the two, but the choreography wasnt there. at the least, if silouette breakdancing guy was cast in this movie it could have become something great.
