Sad2Laugh is the delightful tale of a dancing grey kitty who doesnt really like candy all that much, but doesn't dislike it enough to refrain from dancing on it. However, true to animutational standards, the film doesn't stick to a single plot line for very long, but changes constantly between sub-plots which weave together to make the perfect movie to watch while attempting to guess which college i'm not in.

"Short and gets right to the lack of a point"

While nothing original doesnt show the attention to detail and thorough animutation of his "dan hibiki" films, animutator mr. homie gives us 10 seconds of viewing gold with this interesting short movie. To use a literary technique called "simile" this was kinda like a quickie with xena: warrior princess.

Dan hibiki for presidente is hardly a political commercial, or even a film of highlights of his nationwide campagn raising political awareness. This is on of mr. homie's best animutations, featuring more animutatedness of the characters than what many other animutaors are willing to attempt. The scene of our current president dancing around and spilling beer everywhere is the funniest scene in any animutation ever.

When robots attack is a non animutation collaboration of two animutators, andrew kepple and neil cicierega. set to the music of neil's "when robots attack" this movie is a single long scene that slowly rolls by with repetitive motions throughout, vaguely reminiscent of an asembly line.

"well done"

Boom Boom has a very unique style, which becomes fairly obvious as soon as the viewer notices that there are no "jaw flapping" segments in this animutation. none. at all. also, there are multiple semi transparent layers that are doing several things simultaneously. this is excellently done and keeps the action moving along at warp speed even though the soundtrack is set to "fairly fast" The other animutatiors would do well to learn from this or at least invite adept_omega along for the next collaboration project, if it ever occurs.

"Teh dark side of animutation"

While Beer Pong may not be the absolute first animutation ever to use death metal music for a sound track, it marks the first successful use of death metal in an animutation EVER. Note the principles of using foreign music in an animutation: 1. must be badly translated into english; and 2. that translation must hilariously not make any sense. Beer pong does both of these very well. However, Beer Pong breaks with the established lighthearted whimsical nature of most animutations, its mistranslated lyrics communicate a darker, more sinister side of animutations that many cannot fully understand.

Can o' Swedes is almost an exact remake of star wars episode 3, minus spaceships, fighting, a plot, wookies, and almost everything else star wars, and the void is filled with drunken swedes singing that song from titanic and playing accordions. That said, Can o' swedes is a well done star wars episode 3 remake, with er, wait, can o swedes doesnt have anything at all to do with star wars, its a lovely animutation by world figure skatinginsocksonasmoothwoodenfloor champion andrew kepple. watch it or be doomed to a lifetime of being thought of as "uncultured"

we are the robots is the heartwarming story of robots and their struggle with self awareness. or maybe not. a short animutation style music video that chants "we are the robots", this movie gets straight to the point: they are robots. Im not sure i should call this animutation though, since the vast majority of characters featured have not been overused in animutation before. We are the robots is a total departure from the self perpetuating jokes common to animutation as a whole.

Though i normally only review animutations, this particular cartoon was brought to my attenton through other channels. Andrew Kepple(TmsT) directs a series of short skits whch are voiced over by several other animutators and affiliates. While this movie is a 2 part-er, its far from a complete story, as each skit is a mini story in itself. The animutational aspects of the skits feturing anmutation were outstanding, with several different heads portraying different emotions of the characters. The skit about all your base becoming old was especially funny, even though it is incorrect. The "all your base are belong to us" phenomenon was recently given a certificate certifying that it is still a funny internet running joke.
